Sad to say, I'm not surprised at all.

Also good thing I deleted the joke I tweeted about her career a few days ago... :shady:

    im not surprised.

i didnt delete the fb slam i made against her upon hearing of her death.

i have no sympathy for crackwhores who have meltdowns from being too fucked up on their own poison. look at Winehouse. I refuse to be a hypocrite and give sympathy to spoiled, talented celebrities.

    to each their own though.

Well, when somebody dies before their time due to stupid vices, it's still a bit of a shme, in a kinda pathetic way. I don't take somebodies death lightly, but I find myself nodding when people have been talking about how so many people are like "omg whitney houston!1" when she hasn't even scraped the public consciousness for a decade, until her attempted comeback last year which bombed. It's easy to be all RIP WHITNEY :'( now that she's dead, but where was the support before that? Celeb culture is fucked.
I was going to retweet that I wasn't surprised by this news but RIP her anyway, and then I deleted that too because for me to even write "RIP" just makes me feel disingenuous. Not taking anything away from her life or death but... I dunno, I just don't care. Like I said, I'm just not surprised.

Sidenote: I saw somebody make the joke "Kevin Coster must have had the day off". Guilty laugh.

    LOL.

I have no empathy for Hollywood. Those who mourn her death are the ones who buy into that TMZ/Perez Hilton bullshit aside to celebrity culture.

Well the nice thing about famous people dying of stupid vices is that you can make your kids terrified of drugs

Word, show any child a mug shot of Whitney Houston or Nick Nolte for that matter and that'll scare 'em straight until the grave.

Truly - isnt't here a website out there which places odds on what celebrity is going to die next or something? She had to be up the top of the list.

Also, there's been a promotion here by Coca-Cola which has people's names printed on the bottles/can, and then some smarty found this:

Looks like more details rolling in. Tons of valium bottles, she was submerged in the tub, bodyguard spent 20 minutes trying to resuscitate BEFORE calling 911.
