So it's about a week since EMERGENCYpocalypse. Where does our core raid stand? So, here are all the people who left: Fumbles, Blood DK, main tank Kenac, Prot/Fury Warrior, off tank Anotherdk, Frost DK, DPS Kholdstare, Arcane/Fire Mage, DPS Xperia, Resto Druid, Healer Here are the people from our old team whom I know are 100% in for the new team: Steveblum, Balance Druid, DPS Spludge, Resto Shaman, Healer Glubtok, Enhance Shaman, DPS Probadin, Ret Paladin, DPS Not sure if they're in or not, as I haven't talked to them in almost a week: (I'm assuming they're in and not recruiting until I know for sure) Lunac, Shadow Priest, DPS Julesverne, Marksman Hunter, DPS New members of the team or people who are interested: Nockers, Blood DK, Main Tank (He is in for sure) Divinekush, Prot/Holy Paladin, TBD Iwinbro, Resto Druid, TBD Mortifix, Feral/Resto Druid, TBD Horry, Demonology Warlock, TBD So, I haven't really seen how good or bad any of these guys are yet, but it looks like we have enough people that we'll be in good shape here. Hopefully the nerfs will be able to carry us until we're geared enough and all the newbies know the fights, if they dont already.
One of the other changes we are making for at least the time being is the axing of Monday Raids. We are hoping with the coming nerfs that 2 days will be enough to get through all 7 Firelands bosses. If that is not the case we will have to reevaluate and try to come up with a new third day as we don't want to go with Monday even if we still need a third day.
So, here's the comp we're going with today, provided everyone shows. Nockers, Blood DK, Main Tank Divinekush, Prot Paladin, Off Tank Steveblum, Balance Druid, DPS Glubtok, Enhance Shaman, DPS Lunac, Shadow Priest, DPS Julesverne, Marksman Hunter, DPS Mortifix, Feral Druid, DPS Spludge, Resto Shaman, Healer Iwinbro, Resto Druid, Healer Probadin, Holy Paladin, Healer As raid leader I'd rather DPS than heal, but I figure we can wait until divinekush or mort gear up from FL or something before we switch. We'd probably do best with all my FL gear in any case. So naturally in the future I'm planning some role changes, even if we do end up keeping the same members.
Quick correction, Glubtok is not raiding with us. He is now replaced with a priest and I will be DPS in his place.
Haven't played in a while but my guild disbanded. It was pretty rough getting people together for raids and PUGS suck. waiting for work to calm down to jump back in again.
So yeah we had a bunch of problems yesterday. A couple of people no-showed. We only barely got Shannox down. I'm keeping an open mind, since it's not only the first time for a bunch of people in our group, but we had people in roles that they were uncomfortable with (Waxy, a healing priest, had to dps... yeah) but I was also not doing amazingly well with it being the first time raid leading in this comp. So those people who didn't show are getting talked to, and hopefully we don't have to pug a dps, and hopefully we'll do better. If we still don't, there will be some problems. Also note I'm putting down a Raid Rules topic, just so I have it down in writing.

Ew EU There's like 250+ members in the guild and about 10 currently are from Shinra. Also currently 6/7 progress in Firepants
