So the aerial vehicle will simply be known as "The Bat"..................yeah I don't know about you guys but I'm still calling it the Bat-Metal Gear. Apparently the movie will also borrow conceptually from "A Tale Of Two Cities", mainly in the elements of an uprising by the underclass against the rich. That part of it isn't too surprising as Nolan has borrowed from modern and releveant news stories and happenings previously, of course most notably the war on terror and the possible violations of civil liberties. There are also rumors going around about John Blake (Joseph Gordon Levitt) and his role in the film, some saying that he might be Batman's sidekick or that he might even replace Batman (again going back to the rumors that Bruce will be dead by the end of the movie). http://movies.ign.com/articles/121/1216786p1.html
Joey King has let it slip that she's playing young Talia Al Ghoul. http://batman-news.com/2012/01/19/joey-king-reveals-the-dark-knight-rises-character/
What the fuck, how many characters are they going to haphazardly cram into this movie? It's bad enough that I have to endure Anne fucking Hathaway but this is starting to become a comic nerd's wet dream
My friend and I were talking about Levitt's role and he said he had an inkling based on some things he had read that his character would end up being something akin to Nightwing.
I still don't think they'll kill him off. Maybe they'll leave him as paralyzed (Basically the Knightfall storyline).

The Daily BLAM is reporting a new plot synopsis and images (film cell plaques to be specific) from Film Cells Ltd.: The plaques themselves are Spoiler-ish: Particularly the one about Gordon http://movies.ign.com/articles/122/1221072p1.html
Nothing we haven't discussed here already, but IGN is polling the masses today about how you think the movie will end - Batman dies, Batman dies but Bruce lives, he winds up paralyzed, he's caught & imprisoned, he kills and hangs up the cowl (yeah I'm calling not likely on that one), or none of the above are the options. I'm still leaning heavily towards B. http://movies.ign.com/articles/122/1222532p1.html
I'm gonna go none of the above. I just don't see them ending it that way. There will be some sort of turmoil (As there always is), but Batman will live on probably in spite of some sort of controversy.
For some reason I could only see that if it's something like the rumor of Joseph Gordon Levitts character taking up the mantle after Bruce, I won't write that one off but for some reason that doesn't sit too well with me.
I could see JGL being an "Azrael" of sorts and portraying Batman DURING the movie as he is defeated/paralyzed. Perhaps even having a Batman vs Batman battle as Azrael takes things too far. But I still think it will end with Bruce as Batman.
She's looking very Julie Newmar meets Scarlett Johanson as the Black Widow for that modern look and feel.
I think the domino mask and ears look a bit silly - like maybe what you would have expected out of Joel Schumacher's Batman and Robin film. But then again, dude in a bat suit.
