Scarlett Johansson wants a Black Widow movie:

Ed Douglas over at Superhero Hype spoke to Ms. Johansson this weekend, and he of course asked her about the future of her Marvel character.

"I love playing the Widow," she said. "I think she's got a very interesting past, a lot of storylines to explore, and certainly [producer] Kevin [Feige] loves that character. I think that Marvel has a very personal relationship with their fans, and I think if the fans want it, and the audience wants it, nothing's impossible. I would love to explore that option as well. Like I said, I love the character and it would be nice to see something nice and gritty."

She also mentions that she has no idea whether or not she'll be in Iron Man 3. In the meantime, BW will be back in The Avengers next summer. But you knew that already.

I imagine it'd be a pretty big flop. Niether SacrJo or Black Widow are big enough respectively to carry the film. There'd need to be some big names (Actors, and Marvel characters) accompanying it to be successful.

This one is still strictly rumorville with no 100% confirmation, but regardless:

Red Skull might also be in the movie, but this rumor is based around the Marvel Heroclix game for the movie which has Red Skull in it.

The Avengers: Captain America's Perspective
Writer-director Joss Whedon talks Cap and his "wierd-ass world."

Joss Whedon has been talking about his upcoming Marvel mega team-up movie, The Avengers, with the writer-director revealing that "much of [the] story takes place from Steve Rogers' perspective, since he's the guy who just woke up and sees this weird-ass world. … Everyone else has been living in it. He's the guy that feels that sense of loss."

That's why the Avengers teaser, where Cap meets Nick Fury in the middle of Times Square, was included in the final moments of Captain America: The First Avenger.

"[The Avengers] is very much about people who are alone -- because I'm writing it," Whedon jokes. "[Captain America] is kind of the ultimate loner in that way. There is an anachronism to him, and [actor] Chris [Evans] and I have always tried to, without making it goofy or too obvious, make him that same grounded '40s Steve Rogers he was in the other movie."

That doesn't mean Cap is the star of the film. No, it sounds like this is definitely an ensemble enterprise.

"You get them in a world, the world of S.H.I.E.L.D., where they fit in," he says. "And you say upfront, these are monsters. These are freaks. These are not you and me, and what are they doing here? How are they human beings? Let's just investigate that."

Fiege, Whedon on Avengers Villains
More villain teases from the films creators.

Another day, another Avengers update. This week, the film's producer Kevin Feige and director Joss Whedon offered a few more morsels about the Marvel movie's villains.

"Who said they were aliens?" Feige teased in a recent interview with Empire. "It's not Skrulls, I've been clear about that. Beyond that, we want to hide it. The identity of the alien race is not impactful. It exists in the comic books, but we're not setting up the Kree-Skrull war or anything like that."

As for the fate of Red Skull in last summer's Captain America, Feige hinted at the possibility of a later return when asked about the rumor that he might be the secret second villain in The Avengers. "Was Skull vaporised at the end of the movie, or thrust into another realm?" asked Feige. "That remains to be seen. It would be fun to see Skull in future, but he's not in this one."

Whedon, meanwhile, remained faithfully shrouded in jest. "I do have a comment on that. It's... Oh, you're breaking up!"

While the films creators continue to drop grains of salt, Loki's Tom Hiddleston offered a little more insight into the mind of his character. "He knows who he is now, and what his powers are," he said. "In order for The Avengers to come together, Loki has to be more menacing, and all of his malevolence is founded in a completely delusional dream."

Scarlett is one of the only actresses that I find sexy no matter how they portray her. Alot of blondes can not pull off a darker hair color and still look sexy.
