Man my smashes are becoming BRUTAL! Got a 4.4k smash earlier today. Been killing a lot of people with it. Of course sometimes I see "resist" or "absorb" and it pisses me off. Got 240k earlier today: Soooooooooo close to 5k crits and 300k damage! And I don't even have any BM gear yet.
Hey have you guys noticed a shift on Pot5 where Imperials kind of fucking suck at WZs now? Like it used to be REALLY easy to get the win, now you're on a team with a bunch of fucktards who commendation farm and lose the game. Republic pretty much owns, and even laying with my alt, it's WAY easier to get a WZ win. I've even lost WZs with imperials in cases we SHOULD have won (like on Alderaan, instead of defending the terminals with a HUGE lead, they run off and hunt, and we loss the turrets, then die).
There's some guy "stylz", I think, he's a juggernaut in Marauder Battlemaster gear. Motherfucker does 6k crits and 300k damage. All I gotta say, is when I get my BM gear, I better be doing better than him or the classes are pretty imbalanced.
The Rage tree is really useful in PvP. I wouldn't spec it, otherwise. That gear could be useful for DPS, but if you're tanking, it's not going to help much.
But that's my problem. A Jugg can wear our DPS armor and kick-ass, but we can't wear a Jugg's heavy armor to survive more. Are you a Rage jugg? Do you sacrifice any defense specing as a Rage?
You sacrifice a lot of survivability going from Immortal to either Vengeance or Rage. Though, we still have more HP and what not than a Marauder.
What Rand said. I'm not spec'ed as Rage. I'm Immortal with pieces of Vengeance and one thing in Rage (less cooldown on Force Choke and Ravage).
Finally got full champ (WIth my two columi implants). Basically averaging 200k per WZ now. Hoping that once I hit 60 valor (52.4 now) that Battlemaster will add to that (Some of the pieces have huge Crit and Surge bonuses). Apparently you have to get tons of duplicates and just swap mods/enhancements on certain pieces to get a good build. Also I guess Rakatta is still the endgame. Kind of dumb that you need to PvE in order to do well in PvP. Hopefully the big update in March will change that. Otherwise it's silly to have PvP gear that isn't that great for PvP.
I wish they'd do a few things to make it easier, unless you can and I'm just missing it. . . A. Allow you to see mods/enhancements in items you have not yet purchased B. Show which purple items are moddable (I bout a purple helmet that said mod, but it wasn't moddable?) Unless it's Orange, I have no clue what's middable until it's in my inventory. And why is there only 2 slots for PvP? Why doesn't it have the 3rd Armor plating slot?
A) Unfortunately, you cannot see mods unless you've bought the item. Stupid, I know. B) It should say at the bottom of the item CTRL+Right-Click to modify. That's how you know it's moddable.
The third slot is where the armoring would go. But to make the gear pvp unique it has the armoring piece already a part.
Current subscribers of the game can now invite up to 3 friends into SWTOR for a 7 day trial. If you have not played the game I have no problem giving you a code to try it out. Jimmy and Star have some too and I can take guildies' codes as well so there should be no limit to how many I can acquire.
I would be on this game, if my computer weren't still in a state of disrepair. Hopefully, I should be in-game by the end of this week.
