I know:p I just can't justify buying cinnamon sticks when I have a full container of ground cinnamon. "Because that's what it calls for" doesn't fly as well with the buyer (aka the boyfriend.) hehe. I'll figure something out. It was awesome though. Thanks again.

You can always cut a coffee filter smaller and tie it up in that......

I tried the ice tea and yum. I was playing with it today by adding a splash of limeade to it for citrus flavor and its yum

    Week 13: September 18th

    Breakfast burrito/taco/thingy.

    2 TBSP Oil
    1/2 medium onion, diced
    1-2 cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 red, green, yellow or orange bell pepper, chopped
    2 small-medium potatoes, diced
    Seasoning salt
    Pepper
    Breakfast sausage or bacon
    3-4 eggs
    Splash of milk
    Grated cheese
Burritos or tortillas or bread or nothing.

Heat the oil in a large skillet on medium heat. Once hot add the onions, garlic and peppers and saute until soft. Add the potatoes and salt and pepper and a little water. Cover and let cook about 5-10 minutes, stirring every so often.
In a small pan cook the sausage or bacon until done. Cut into bite size pieces.
When the potatoes are pretty much soft add the meats and stir.
In a bowl whisk the eggs and milk and a little salt and pepper. Push the potatoes and stuff to the side of the pan and pour the eggs into the pan.
Stir the eggs around just until they set. Then mix them in with the potatoes and add the cheese. Stir around for a minute until the cheese is melted and everything is incorporated.
You can heat the burritos or tortillas in the microwave for a about 20 seconds. Or you can heat up dry pan and cook them for a minute or two.
Serve with sour cream, hot sauce, ketchup, or salsa.
    Enjoy!

    1 can chickpeas, drained
    1-2 TBSP olive oil
    salt

    Preheat oven to 450*F

Pat the chickpeas dry with a paper towel. Toss with oil and spices.
Place on a baking sheet and bake for 35-40 minutes until crunchy.
Keep an eye on them the last few minutes so they don't burn!

    Enjoy!
