    No it's a 9.0

Actually I'm curious what the average is on Metacritic.

    Which is... 80%.

The equivalent of 80/100 seems to the be most common score also.

I don't get it obviously I am missing something here but nothing that $10 during a sale in about 3 months won't fix

Basically the game looks like it was made in 2003, was written by Tolkiens distant remedial cousin, they hired the Resident Evil 1 voice actors, and took their quest objective inspiration from korean MMO's. Maybe if this was an indie release would it be acceptable, but the triple a hype it got is MASSIVELY undeserved.

I'm not sure if this is true but I heard somewhere that it was originally developed to be a MMORPG at first.

They really should have upgraded the engine given that. It just looks so massively dated right now.

I can live with the graphics because the graphic design has its own character, but shit. The fucking way you get quests feels EXACTLY like an MMO. Soulless busy work nonsense

Nah man it's like Skyrim came out with basically real people cosplaying as vikings and then this game comes out and goes "but look at us we have lego men in funny hats"

It has a cartoonish style to it, but I think it's intentional. Kind of a lighter, more peaceful fantasy atmosphere as opposed to a gritty dark fantasy like Skyrim or Dragon Age. Almost like they got JRPG all over my WRPG.

You like dark moody shit though we've established this
