    Not quite, you needed to have a Druid specifically in your group to get it, as it was part of a Druid specific chain. It's only since Cata that you can get one without the use of a Druid.

    Yeah but anyone could still use it, it wasn't druid exclusive you just needed druid help to acquire it.

    The fact that you specifically needed a Druid weighs it in favour of it have being primarily a Druid perk which they could take advantage of IMO

    But it was introduced way back in TBC right?

    Also while it's one of the best looking ground mounts IMO why have a giant bird king mount and not have it fly
