    Blade Runner.
The Final Cut edition they released in 2007 (which came with about 5 disks and about 4 different versions of the movie including the one I mentioned).

One of my favourite films (not for the philosophical stuff or the subtext or other intelligent shit, no, I just like the fact that it's in the future and yet everything looks like a fucking dump)

But it's set in 2019 so if things aren't like that in ten years I'm beating up Ridley.

Layer Cake (or L4Y3R C4K3). Directed by Matthew Vaughn, starring Daniel Craig, Colm Meaney, Michael Gambon, Sierra Miller. One of the better "brit gangster" movies of the last 10 years or so. Seeing as Vaughn was a producer for Guy Richie before making this directorial debut, I was maybe expecting something a bit more silly, but it was actually much more serious than either Snatch, Lock Stock or Rock'N Rolla, and much more tighter.

Good film, can definitely see how this propelled Craig as #1 contender and eventual winner to be the next Bond.

    Yes Man

I was hesitant to watch it but a friend recommended it highly, so after bitching about Jim Carey being horribad I downloaded it and watched it. Certainly there are moments where he's awful, and almost breaks the scene, but in the final calculation it's a good movie. Encouraging, philosophical I suppose, plus Zooey Deschanel is easy on the eyes.

Schindler's List. I had it in my collection for years, but just never got around to watching it. I read the history and have written, researched, and taught genocide and the misuse of power to my students, but rarely have I been shaken by a film until I saw this one. Power and disturbing.

She's about the only reason why I'd bother watching it, tbh.

I just rented The Wrestler from some $1 vending machine in front of the 7-11. Pretty sweet movie! I like the realism introduced throughout it. The lifestyle that professional wrestlers endure.

    Sadly? The Incredibles.

My bf and I enjoy kiddie movies sometimes more than regular ones.

Edit: Actually I was upset at my bf's lack of motivation to come with me to purchase groceries with his debit card because I didn't want to pump the credit cards. He rather sit and play WoW. Hah! So I decided to put on a good movie for him to watch while I was gone. I ended up watching the whole thing before going shopping. (I hate grocery shopping). Then I put on Monsters Inc. and left.

And before anyone starts nagging me about using his money rather than mine, I deposit my paycheck into his checking account linked to the card. We just don't have joint accounts until we're married.

Fanboys. Had my doubts about it at first but I enjoyed it. Kristen Bell was sooooo hot :fap: and I think Kevin Smith did a good job with the film.

Was reading an interview with Hulk Hogan and he was like "ARGH THAT MOVIE UNREALISTIC HE ONLY HAD LIKE A FEW PILLS IN THE BOTTLE AND I HAD HUNDREDS AND SPENT 4 YEARS IN MY VAN THEY'D NEVER BE ABLE TO SHOW A FILM ABOUT WHAT IT'S REALLY LIKE TO BE WRESTLER AS NO ONE WOULD HANDLE IT!"

Was it true Hogan was offered the lead to that film? Ugh if so. That would have made a awesome film, a laughable joke.

I was so annoyed when I finally watched Hogan Knows Best.
I always imagined Hogan at home being him CONSTANTLY destroying things.

    - gets out of bed, rips PJ's off, destroys bed, screams, kicks down door and goes into bathroom (kicking down the door)
    - has a massive shit, tears newspaper in half, flushes (by punching flusher) destroys toilet, rips shower curtain down
    - Rips pipe out of wall, sprays himself with scalding hot water and punches soap into his face, bends pipe to stop flow
    - puts on clothes, rips them off, puts on yellow vest
    - rips off fridge door, grabs handful of cereal and a handful of milk, punches the fuck out of his mouth
    - takes steroids and batters his wife and kids

And what did we get instead?
Hulk Hogan and his BORING, depressing and doomed fucking relationship with his family.

Aside from them being rich the show had no draw, and them being rich and all the obnoxious loopy pointless adventures they were thus able to accomplish was not a draw for me. In retrospect it's funny in that you can look back and see how pointless and trite and shallow all their relationships are, and watch the family disintegrate before your eyes.

    Red Belt.
About this jujitsu teacher living the ghetto life with that lady from blindness and I am legend. It's hardcore. He had to deal with a lot of shit. It was pretty cool.
