If you're going to put an enormous amount of effort into executing an idea, like making a fucking gif based on an Ape Fist spam thread, you're going to raise people's expectations so the idea has to be good in the first place or the entire thing will fall flat. If the idea and the effort are mismatched, then it's just going to look like you're trying way too hard, which invokes sympathy rather than laughs.

Nevertheless, you constantly see Jimmy writing long but boring "story" posts (for the few flamers remaining in the past-WR metaflaming paradigm, he could be likened to Dvlos with a severe learning disability), or using GIF's to little comedic effect (a la In You Eye). The effort is there, but the creative spark is missing. Even here, whatever portions of this GIF are working comically were lifted directly from other posts - from Ape Fist's initial idea to Sketch's film festival follow-up.

His actual execution is dry, not in a funny British way, but in a cold unfeeling way that makes you wonder if there is really a creatine-loaded carbon-based organism out there somewhere typing his posts, or if somehow the frustrations and stupidity of the whole internet forum ecosystem have personified themselves under the pseudonym Jimmy. Perfect, quintessential Jimmy post. Do not read.
