I'm looking for a good headset-style pair of headphones for when I'm walking about/travelling/aiming to look streety like a poser. What's some good names/styles/wtfever? :huh:
lol at least you admit that you'll look like a poser wearing them if you wanted to look as 'street' as you can, monster beats by dre is the kneejerk option (though quite pricey) there's obviously headphones that are very good quality wise, but may not have the 'looks' that the beats offer (apparently?). grado sr60i are very good and less expensive.
What kind do you want? the earbud ones, or ones that go all the way around your ears. Do you want noise cancelling headphones?
I was half kidding, I'm not really that street at all but I can be pretty casual. I mean I'd like ones that look fine but I'm not really going purely for looks, if you know what I mean. I'm not going to use them like an accessory, I'd actually be using them. Ones that go all the way around, earbuds are really annoying (for some reason I can never get one to sit in my right ear properly) and are also too fiddly. Noise cancelling... not completely I guess. I don't want to get hit by a car.
In my experience, you can't really go wrong with a good pair of Sennheisers, though I've also heard really good things about the Grados that Marius suggested. The Dr. Dre brand looks nice, but it's almost unanimous among audiophiles that they're ridiculously overpriced for the sound quality you're actually getting.
