Hey I just got an idea for the Flag one, you guys should try it out (If I don't get to first, to report if it works). When the game starts, and it's your turn to defend. Maybe you can just disconnect from XboxLive? Usually that counts as a victory for you (I've done it a few times with the "Win X amount of games" challenges). I wonder if that would trigger the achievement? Cause technically you won before anyone touched your flag. Not sure if it would work? There's no fucking Defiant maps in the regular community playlists for me to test it. If someone gets the opportunity, test it.
Ugh I played the most fucking bullshit game of Reach against the biggest pack of cunts ever. 3 on 3 capture the flag on Zealot, and the opposition was in a party. Assholes knew exactly where the enemy spawn points were and camped us with swords and a flag to instant kill us the minute we spawned. Only by spamming the dive loadout could I not be instantaneously killed. I ended up with a -22 K/D and only managed a handful of kills.
Been there. Been there on a game of invasion where my entire team quit. Had 8 guys camping the spawn area waiting for me. I'd just spawn and start chuckin' 'nades. Managed to get a few of them every once in a while, but yeah, sucks. Had a 3-on-8 game of BTB, some shitty guy with 3 kills managed to get me twice (When I was weakened by the rest of his team) and teabagged. Wanted to teabag him back, but I didn't get the chance as it was towards the end of the game and time ran out. Still the guy went like 5 kills with 18 deaths. I was 15 kills with 22 deaths (Because by the end of the game there was 8 vs 2 of us). I don't understand why shitty players teabag? I've never been teabagged by a good player, they all usually suck.
Oh shit, maybe my idea won't work as I've heard if a host migration occurs during the game, the achievement is nulled. Fuck, talk about making an impossible achievement even more impossible.
Well I at least got the Top Shot cheeve. Apart from the Armor Lock one they all seem okay, it's the Defiant ones which are cheesing me off since Defiant maps don't fucking turn up.
There's some communities which set up boosting parties, like XboxAchievements.com or whatever it's called. Maybe we should hook up wit dem noogas.
Oh man, had the best game just after you left Jimmies: Map: Sword Base This general grade 4 has the sniper rifle and he's sitting up in that vent right at the top of the map like a cheap bastard. I see him from across the other side of the map and as luck would have it, I've got the grenade launcher. So I've lobbed up an across the map shot, holding the button down, and hilariously I detonate it right in his face and kill him in one shot. Obv this made the dude mad cause he kills me not soon after, and he teabags me. So I'm like, okay then, game on. I ended up killing him a total of 12 times - 2/3rds of my final score. I think he got me back maybe once, but all in all it was pretty onesided on that front (though my team lost by 7 points or so in the end). It's funny too, he'd come right back to the spot where he was just killed, so one time I was just waiting and totally no scoped headshot the guy with the sniper rifle. Feels good man.
