    i need stuff that yields a lot of left overs, it's how i save money. Currently i cook;

    spicy tomato cream sauce (pasta)
    turkey burgers
    fish tacos

    that's about it really....i've been considering making a chili or spanish rice but i dunno if i could eat chili every day

    Make any kind of soup.... That always yields lots of leftovers. Got a favorite kind? Let me know I'll give you a recipe.
    Also, making a big batch of rice and doing random things with it work well too.
    Make some into Spanish rice like you said. Make some into a casserole with chicken and broccoli and cheese and carrots and junk. Make some with curry. Make some into rice pudding.... If you like those ideas I'll give you recipes too.

    I like making a big batch of gumbo/Jumbalaya or a large family size of lasgana and leave that in the fridge. It gives a good helping of leftovers. Another idea is buying like 2 pounds of fajita meat; grill it up, and just go to that when you need a small snack. (I make tiny tacos for snacks)
    Or my personal favorite is making cheap tiny pizza. All you need is English muffins, tomato paste, some seasoning (oregano, basil, garlic salt), and a cheese. For about $5 you can make 12-20 English muffin sized pizza.
