Honestly, I have to read up. I haven't been following the government because I am everything that is wrong with this country.
I'll agree with you that it's in the conservative's interest for everyone to be apathetic and cynical about politics.
Be sure to check who's the main challenger to the Conservative in your riding; nothing like wasting a vote on the NDP when only the Liberals can win where you live (or vice-versa). Of course, if you wanted to guarantee your vote is wasted, you could vote Green.
I really hope Timothy Dalton wins I think he's been running a good campaign for the Liberal Party so far
Did you see the video of the conservative candidate boasting about Harper eradicating poverty in Canada? Turns out it was about one of the definitions of poverty for the World Bank that says no one should live with less than 2$ a day. SO THERE IS NO MORE POVERTY IN CANADA THANKS TO HARPER BECAUSE WE SWITCHED DEFINITIONS.

I feel as if Harper should resign if it's another minority. He'll never get a majority if it's not now. That being said, Iggy is definitely gone and Duceppe might not be back.
