I am making this thread more as a test of fortitude. You lot can use it to discuss the game, news, etc. I am going to do everything in my power to avoid discovering anything about the game until the day it is released and I am playing it so that I may spend the entire experience wide-eyed and spraying cum into the face of God.
I know absolutely nothing about this game other than the trailer and how anticipated it is. I'd love to know more, plz bestow upon me ur knowledge.
I have very high hopes for Skyrim. I won't be surprised if it doesn't meet all of my expectations, but I still think that the game has the potential to make a modern game following the legacy of Morrowind. Sadly, a Morrowind remake would probably be a better game if they went ahead and made one. I'll have to check out this Morrowind 2011 mod.
Could be one the best games out this year or it could be one of the biggest let downs. I'm looking forwards to playing this no doubt.
New trailer + gameplay footage Looks phenomenal, puts what I've seen of Dragon Age 2 to shame. The Elder Scrolls V Gameplay Footage Debuts - Xbox 360 News at IGN
Damn that looks fucking awesome. Not sure what I want to get it on. PS3 handled ESIV: O better with Render distance and texture quality, but the 360's controller s just so much better than the PS3's.
With the new BF3 coming out and this Skyrim (which I'm not even interested in) coming, it's really starting to get on my nerves how badly the current generation consoles' age is starting to go show. PC games (DX11) are fucking on fire right now. ~K.
too bad i dont have a DX11-capable video card!!! gonna need a job and upgrade before the end of the year
My PC is probably good enough to run this (Even though I haven't checked the specs -if any even exist at this point?. But I don't like PC gaming unless I'm forced to. Hate sitting in front of the screen and needing a surface for the mouse/keyboard. Just easier to lay on the couch or a chair and hold a tiny controller. And 42 inch plasma > whatever the hell my screen is. . . 17?
post your specs also 17 inch screen? lmao ALSO: buy wireless mouse + keyboard, plug your 42 inch plasma into your PC? if you think that any elder scrolls game is 'meant' to be played on a console over playing it on a computer, you're delusional.
It's 18.4 inch screen and it's a laptop, which actually makes it pretty huge. The specs are: 2.8ghz Core 2 Duo CPU 4gb RAM DDR2 ATI 1GB HD4650 GPU 250gb HDD 5400rpm It's like 2 years old, so the specs are starting to age. It's a laptop but I basically use it like a desktop (Always tethered to the wall). Also even with a wireless mouse won't I still need to be within a comfortable arm's length of a surface.
it is good enough i'd say, im not entirely sure if that video card is DX11-capable, i'd say no but again i'm not sure. also, you probably CAN plug that into a TV, and use an extra mouse + keyboard?
