I'm gearing up asshat off my nuts!
1) Mostly gemming str but putting in 1/2 Stam here and there doesn't hurt cause well need more HP to hang in BGs, needing Stam in BGs wtf right?
2) Saving conquest points as a great PvP weapon sadly cannot be produced out of thin air
3) Don't see much point at the mo in reforging, which is also why I'm not gemming stronger gems

No, you don't need stam for BGs. You need dps. As much of it as possible.

Run some dungeons and get a 346 weapon. It will take you a fuckin year to get a PvP weapon w/25 conquest pts a day.

Also, reforge your shit. Most of the time you have to reforge with every new piece of gear you get to balance your stats out like they're supposed to be. It costs like 10g per item to reforge... don't be bad dude c'mon

I have zero straight Stam anywhere - if anything I use secondary colour gems that mix other decent stats with Str or Stam to meet armor bonuses if they're worth it, but that's just me. Some people like to get them, some people ignore them. When I have a full suit I won't need to worry about added Stam at all but at the moment I have about 50% of what I want in mid-term PvP gear so I figure having a bit of added health while catering to main stats in the middle of having to mix it up with people in full gear can't hurt, especially since there's no way I'll be out-DPSing them 1v1 at this time no matter what I do.

Dungeons aren't so great for me atm, not until I upgrade my comp finally or swap some honor for some points to get some better PvE gear, but I've been toying of doing Arena junk in the meantime if it'll get me some points faster. I don't have as much time on my hands at the moment though so it's not a dire problem, I'm too busy just getting a full PvP suit first.

Once again, I don't see reforging as being important at this point. You have two sets of some pieces when it comes to PvP gear which caters to what your angle is for stats (2 diff versions of the same spec item will have crit v haste for example) anyway while you're building, and most of what I got stat-wise actually wanted to work toward caps, even though what to aim for when it comes to Rets seems to be ever changing (the only thing which seems totally useless now is Haste and I've been trying to make sure I don't have anything that caters to it). It makes more sense to do reforging after I have a full set so I know the total of what I'm working with, what I'll need and what's expendable.

Seriously though go reforge. At least get yourself to 5% hit even if you don't want to adjust everything.

Apparently you should be able to hit cap with reforge at the least, like I said I'm not sure what a full suit will put me at but I'll check out what the chest/legs/cloak I'm after should give and think about reforging from there.
I'll let you know when I actually have a full set so you can lambast my choices then.

Dude I've been playing for close to 2 years. There's a diff being in the middle of gearing up and waiting to do some things, and just not knowing which slot to equip a sword in which I'm sure you had trouble with, GARY.
