ATTN: All raiders and would-be raiders.

Alrighty then. No more co-op stuff, just full guild now.

We did excellent the first week, fielding a full guild group 2 days in a row, and almost the third.

This past week though... not good. Not good at all.

To recap:

Tuesday we had to pug 2 1 dps and 1 healer IIRC.
Wednesday we had to pug 1 dps and 1 healer.
Thursday we didn't go because we were 2 healers short.

We have the people we need, we just need to get a little more organized. I have pretty much stalled recruitment at this point because I know we have the people, but I need to know who is willing/able to commit a few hours a week to raiding so I am not trying to rely on people that aren't reliable.

Disclaimer: It is nothing personal. If you tell me you're just not that interested or you have to work those nights or something I won't hold it against you, I just need to know that so I can make sure we have a consistent group each week.

Right now I consider the following people our consistent raiders:

Thats 11 people. That group works. We have seen it work. What I need to know from you 11 people as well as anyone who is up and coming and would like to raid in the future is:

Can you commit to being online at 70 server on Tuesdays and Wednesdays?

If the answer is no for any reason let me know so I can adjust accordingly.

You'll notice I only said Tuesday and Wednesday. We are getting rid of Thursday raids. 3 nights in a row is hard for Krun, Fixin cannot raid on Thursdays due to work, and generally Thursday has always had terrible attendance.

I still want to do a third night. This week I have put it for Sunday evening just to test it out. If Sunday doesn't work for you let me know. Also let me know what third day DOES work for you.



The last issue I want to address is healers. I love all three of our healers, you guys are great and doing a great job. However if one of you doesn't show up we are dead in the water as far as raiding is concerned. We have some straggler DPS so we can usually fill DPS slots, and we have backup tanks we can use. We currently have 0 backup healers, and that doesn't work.

I do not want to recruit another full-on healer, but may be on the verge of doing it. Ideally we have and offspec healer who can heal in a pinch so we can keep our current group. Or, one of our current healers needs to get a DPS offspec and I will try and recruit a healer.


Do note that I am going to be basing the direction I take with recruitment directly off of what we discuss in this thread. It isn't that hard to register for this forum and check it once a day or so, especially while we have important guild discussions going on. If you see someone in the above list who hasn't let me know their availability here, direct them to it.

Monday is no good for me. I have a monthly meeting first Monday of every month.

I thought about Friday, but just kind of watching the trend apparently we have people with lives or something because Friday evenings are usually dead as hell.

Could try Saturday.

If Miffy and Spludge can both make Sundays though, I'll heal on Sunday IDC. My pally is coming right along and will be ready shortly.

Yeah I really do not think Saturday would work.

If we do Monday and you guys will just be w/o me one Monday a month that'd be all fine and dandy, except Krun has issue with 3 days in a row... which is perfectly understandable since he has a home life w/wife, kids, septic tank, etc.
